Meredith Stimson O'Connell, Owner & Trainer
Meredith Stimson-O’Connell, head trainer of Madison Show Stables, has over 15 years experience in top hunter/jumper show barns. Many of her students have successfully competed in all three rings with focus on the jumper ring. She prides herself in top class care and training. Meredith competed in the junior jumpers and big eq in her junior years until she gained her professional status in 2003, bringing along her mare Madison Avenue to compete in open 1.35m jumpers as a pro. Most recently, Michelle Mancini’s horse Unique, is next in line to take her place.
You will occasionally find Meredith featured in “Warmbloods Today” and also “Equine Journal” writing short pieces on training questions asked by readers.
In addition, Meredith has prepared Grand Prix horses for prestigious competitions such as WEF, Fidelity Jumper Classic, Spruce Meadows and Kentucky National Horse Show and currently trains in Wellington FL and Stockton NJ with Grand Prix rider Schuyler Riley.
